MPC
The Multi-Protocol Cartridge (MPC) is an Intel-based Pro-Link Plus compatible cartridge designed to diagnose today's J1708, J1939, 160 Baud and ISO 9141 vehicles. It provides a new platform that greatly enhances the flexibility of the Pro-Link Plus. To address advanced capabilities provided by the manufacturers, the MPC uses PCMCIA cards. The cards are plugged into the back of the unit, and provide additional functions unique to each manufacturer. The following list contains features and functions that are available with this cartridge.

Pro-Link
The Pro-Link Plus scan tool is designed to support all of NEXIQ's heavy duty vehicle and marine applications. It provides real-time data, diagnostic information and on-screen trouble code definitions. It's designed to guide technicians through even the most complicated vehicle tests using simple menus and message screens. Pro-Link's built-in flight (snapshot feature) recorder lets you record data on test drives then review it back at the shop. The Pro-Link also has a 4-line, 20 characters per line LCD display and can even help identify difficult intermittent problems. With the adjustable display the Pro-Link is easy to read in different lighting conditions. The RS-232 serial port allows you to connect the unit to the Pro-Link printer or a personal computer. The Detroit Diesel starter kit has everything required to complete basic heavy truck diagnostic procedures.
