Shipping Policy

Return-policy consistency update effective for orders placed on or after October 1, 2026. Earlier orders remain subject to the terms applicable when purchased.

We ship to virtually any address worldwide. However, certain products may be restricted or unavailable for international delivery due to carrier or regulatory limitations. Please contact us before placing international orders to confirm eligibility.

Shipping Estimates and Adjustments

Shipping and delivery dates are estimated based on item availability and the shipping method selected at checkout.
Estimates shown during checkout may vary due to carrier constraints, dimensional weight, or destination-specific surcharges. If actual shipping costs differ by more than $15 or 20% of the original estimate, we will contact you prior to shipment.
Orders typically process within 1–2 business days. Shipping timelines begin once the order is processed and picked up by the carrier.
We reserve the right to partially ship an order unless the customer requests complete shipment in writing.

Weight-Based Shipping

Many items are shipped based on weight and dimensional size. All weights are rounded up to the next full pound in accordance with carrier policies.
If actual shipping dimensions result in a higher cost, we may absorb the difference at our discretion. If the increase is substantial, we will notify you before proceeding.

Remote and Extended Delivery Zones

Orders shipped to remote, rural, or extended delivery zones may incur additional charges beyond the quoted estimate. These fees are determined by the carrier and vary by location.
If your address qualifies for such a surcharge, we will notify you prior to shipment with the adjusted rate. You may choose to proceed, modify your shipping method, or cancel the order.

Expedited Shipping

Guaranteed delivery timelines apply only to UPS and FedEx Next Day Air or Second Day Air services, and are based on the actual ship date—not the order date.
Expedited orders are subject to warehouse processing and carrier pickup schedules. If an order is processed or picked up later than expected, shipping fees will not be refunded or discounted.

Expedited Shipping Availability and Limitations Expedited shipping services, including Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or any premium carrier service, are not guaranteed and may not be available for all products, suppliers, or warehouse locations. Some manufacturers and distribution partners do not offer expedited fulfillment. If expedited service is unavailable, not feasible, or cannot be fulfilled at the time of shipment, the order will ship using the fastest available Ground service.

If expedited shipping was selected and paid for but could not be provided, the expedited shipping charge will be refunded. This refund applies only to the difference in shipping cost and does not waive any other fees or responsibilities under our return policy.

Returns and Shipping Costs

Return eligibility and fees are governed by the Terms, Refund & Substitution Policy, the master return policy. All sales are generally final; customer-choice returns require written approval and an RA/RMA before shipment. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery or the product-specific timeframe disclosed before purchase. A timely request does not guarantee approval. Approved merchandise must be unused, untested, uninstalled, in original condition and packaging, and complete with manuals and accessories.

Approved non-defective/customer-choice returns incur a 15%–25% restocking fee calculated on the returned merchandise price, or the applicable supplier/manufacturer/warehouse restocking fee if higher. The applicable fee will be disclosed in the return authorization. Only one restocking fee applies; supplier fees are not added on top of the USA TOOLS restocking fee.

For approved non-defective/customer-choice returns, original/outbound shipping charges are non-refundable and the customer pays return shipping. Shipping already paid will not be deducted a second time. Additional freight/LTL return fees will be disclosed in the RA/RMA.

Defective, damaged, and incorrectly shipped items are evaluated separately under the master policy. A confirmed USA TOOLS error is not subject to customer-choice restocking or shipping deductions; USA TOOLS arranges or pays authorized return shipping. Defect, damage, and warranty claims follow approved claim instructions and the applicable warranty.

If expedited service is unavailable, any return request is evaluated under these same rules. Customer-choice fees are not applied to a confirmed USA TOOLS error.

Supplier-Sourced Special Orders

Supplier-sourced special orders are generally non-returnable for customer-choice reasons. USA TOOLS may consider an exception only if the supplier agrees to accept the return. Before an RA/RMA is issued or anything is shipped back, the customer must provide clear photos of the shipping box and/or item, including the packaging and condition the supplier needs to review. Keep any factory seal intact unless USA TOOLS asks for other photos. USA TOOLS will submit the request to the supplier and confirm in writing whether the supplier accepts it, the approved return address, and any applicable restocking and shipping charges. Photos, a timely request, or delivery to USA TOOLS do not guarantee supplier acceptance or a refund. Do not ship a special-order item back until USA TOOLS issues written return instructions. Defect, damage, wrong-item, and warranty claims are handled separately under the master policy.

Order Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be approved by USA TOOLS. We will attempt to stop fulfillment before shipment, but cancellation is not guaranteed after processing, packing, or supplier ordering. Once shipped or in carrier possession, an order cannot be cancelled; any eligible return follows the master policy. Any applicable cancellation charges will be disclosed before approval. Restocking and shipping charges are not automatically imposed merely because a cancellation was requested, and shipping not incurred will not be charged.

Backordered Items

Backordered items will ship separately once available unless otherwise requested. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Delivery Confirmation and Claims

Customers are responsible for packages delivered and left at the front door unless a signature is requested at checkout.
If proof of delivery is provided and the package was delivered to the address entered, any claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier.
By placing an order, you acknowledge that delivery confirmation constitutes completion of the order. If we select a different carrier, customer responsibility remains once proof of delivery is issued.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather, carrier disruptions, or government restrictions.

Severe Weather, Natural Disasters & National Logistics Disruptions

USA TOOLS is not responsible for delays caused by severe weather conditions, natural disasters, national emergencies, carrier‑imposed service suspensions, or any other events outside of our control. These situations may impact transit times, warehouse operations, and carrier pickup schedules nationwide. Such delays do not constitute grounds for order cancellation, refunds, or chargebacks. Once an order has shipped, delivery timelines are determined solely by the carrier.

International Shipments

All international orders are shipped under Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU/DAP) terms. This means the recipient is responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage charges, disbursement fees, or other administrative costs imposed by the destination country or carrier.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee collected at checkout. By placing an international order, you agree to accept responsibility for these charges upon delivery. Failure to pay may result in delays, storage fees, or return of the shipment, for which USA Tools is not liable.
