Vehicles equipped with electronic parking brake & brake calipers require an electronic control module to service these systems. OEM level service tool connects through the OBDII diagnostic port. Functions include: Deactivate / reactivate electronic parking brake controls, retract / apply electronically controlled caliper pistons, initialize new brake pad wear indicators and enter new pad thickness, recalibrate tilt angle when required. This tool is also required when servicing brake calipers, hub bearings, struts & suspension components on vehicles equipped with electronic brake systems to deactivate / reactivate the emergency brake system and retract / reset the caliper pistons. Multi-brand system includes: Audi, BMW, Citroen & Ford to 2014. Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes SBC, Peugeot, Renault & Volkswagen models & years featuring these systems. Tool can be updated on-line. Battery configuration & service / code reset functions can be added through the on-line support system.
