    Product Description

    MiST X-Treme Sanitizing Kits are designed to disinfect and sanitize vehicle interior touchpoints while treating the entire HVAC system and interior air spaces for sources of mold, mildew, and bacteria.

    MiST X-Treme Sanitizing Solution

    • Contains both Alkyl (60% C14, 30% C16, 5% C18) dimethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides–.15% & Alkyl (68% C12, 32% C14) dimethyl ethyl benzyl ammonium chlorides–.15%One 32-ounce bottle is more than enough to treat 12 passenger cars/light trucks. Tests indicated that 2-ounces were needed to cover the average vehicle’s interior
      1. EPA Reg. No. 1839-220-96845 (Listed on EPA List N: Disinfectant for use against SARS-CoV- 2 (Covid-19))
      2. Effective against Bacteria, including MRSA, with 2-minute contact time and viruses in as little as 30 second contact time—SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) contact time recommendation is 5 minutes
      3. Sanitizing instructions are to allow sprayed on a solution to remain in place during the entire MiST service, far exceeding all contact time requirements, then wiping away any excess at the end of the MiST service.

    MiST Ultrasonic Cleaning Solution

    • Ultrasonic cleaning solutions are those distributed through the vehicle HVAC system using an Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine placed in the passenger floorboard and operated with the AC
      system on and in recirculation mode. The EPA requires additional efficacy testing to make claims—even with registered chemicals—that are dispensed by “fogging or misting.” The typical dispensing time is 15 minutes
      1. The MiST Ultrasonic Treatment is particularly effective on the evaporator as the small droplets can be carried in mass through the inlet vent to the evaporator. They coalesce and cover the entire core. The MiST solution has been shown to continue working up to 14 days after application
    • Sanitizing Kits available with two formulas—590250SK and 590260SK
      1. 590250SK has been in service since 2012. This product contains quaternary ammonium, triethylene glycol (TEG), and an odor absorber. It has no added odor but leaves a clean, fresh feeling in the air
      2. 590260SK was designed for the “Remarketing” market, where odors can cost business. It has a fungicide, a higher concentration of odor absorber, and an added “Febreze” linen & sky fragrance
