Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. Any returns must be shipped by customer prepaid within 30-days. Customer must notify us via email that they want to return the product with an explanation as to why the order will be returned and must receive written approval from us. Upon approval we will provide the return address which may vary due to the fact that orders are many times drop shipped from a different warehouse location. We may upon request and approval send a return label for which the cost of shipping will be deducted from the total. In the event that you do not receive a return label you will have to ship the item prepaid shipping and you are responsible for shipping the item within 30-day time frame from the date you receive the order. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Product unsatisfactory returns are subject to shipping both ways and 15% restocking or applicable manufacture or warehouse restocking. Note that restocking fees may vary depending on each warehouse or manufacturer however the minimum fee is 15%. Some products may not be returned if they are special ordered from the manufacturer and are already in transit.

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@usatoolsinc.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label for qualifying returns, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

All orders are evaluated individually for any possible fraud. Any order that is determined to be fraudulent upon determination shall be refunded within 5-10 days unless the order was fulfilled. Refunds are issued only once it is determined that the order was fraudulent.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If you receive replacement product as described in our online store you will be responsible for all shipping charges.

Shipping

Customer is responsible for shipping charges regardless of the charges or carrier. Orders that are shipped via next-day delivery, 2nd-day delivery, or any other method are the responsibility of the customer. If the order is placed and customer returns the product customer accepts responsibility for all shipping charges even in the event the product is unsatisfactory or ordered in error. In the event that customer returns a product customer is responsible for shipping both ways. If the customer returns a product that we shipped in error, we will be responsible for the return shipping unless the item is discontinued and replaced by a new replacement version that the customer agrees. Customer is responsible for all shipping charges and minimum of 15% restocking fee for any item that is returned due to a new replacement that the customer agrees to and decides that they would like to return it.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, or any Hazmat type of products, and replacement parts. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

No refunds on:  Paint guns from Iwata, Devilbiss, Tekna, SATA if the seal on the box is broken or if the replacement gun is shipped, or any paint gun replacement parts. Please check that you received the correct product before you open the box. Many guns are replaced by the manufacturer with a new upgrade, and we inform the customer via our website of this upgrade and once the customer receives the order for the manufacturer' replacement gun a request for return or refund shall not be accepted. No refunds on: Torque wrenches. If you have a torque wrench that malfunctions the warranty is with the manufacturer. No refunds on special ordered items. No refunds on electronic testers, scan tools, diagnostic testers. Note that electronic products such as scan tools, diagnostic scanners, and other electronic testers are constantly updated and upgraded and when we ship the product we will ship the latest version as recommended by the manufacturer.  No refunds on lifting Jacks due to potential safety issues. 

WARRANTY

The warranty is the original manufacturer's warranty of the product. In the event that you have to make a warranty claim the manufacturer's warranty will apply. If you have any questions about the manufacturer's warranty, we will be glad to assist you. On engine driven products such as generators, water pumps, and other similar type products the warranty is for 90 days unless stated otherwise. The warranty covers parts only. Labor or service is not covered unless stated otherwise. Warranty begins on the day you receive the product. If your product has a problem that requires a claim of warranty or repair, we will require that you take pictures of the unit and email us a picture so that we can view the problem. If it is necessary for you to send us the product you will be required to pay shipping charges both ways. If the product is not defective, we will ship the product back to you and you will be liable for all shipping costs. Warranty claims for defective products are not refundable and either the manufacturer will replace the product with a replacement or repair the product under warranty. The warranty shall not be covered due to misuse or abuse. Products that are directly imported and shipped to the customer have a limited warranty that covers parts only. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or hurricane related products.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is after receiving approval, to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. All returns are subject to 15% restocking fee and shipping to and from customer. Refunds can take up to 10 days. If you have not received your refund within the 10-day period, please contact us.

Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled after they are in transit. Orders that are shipping out of the country cannot be cancelled due to delays in transit and processing since overseas orders require special processing. If the order is cancelled there will be a 25% restocking fee and shipping both ways to the supplier if the order requires shipping from the manufacturer or supplier for reshipping. This applies to any partially shipped orders and backordered items that were not cancelled.

International orders

Customer is responsible for picking up any orders that wind up in customs and for any duties charged. If order is not picked up by customer at customs and or duties are not paid customer takes full responsibility for the products that are left at customs. International orders are not refundable. In the event an order needs to be exchanged customer is responsible for all shipping and duties both ways.
