The FORAGRES kit is perfect for making holes in ceramic tiles during installation and allows professional ceramic tile installers to get the best results in their finishes.
FORAGRES diamond drill bits are ideal for drilling stoneware tiles, porcelain tiles and pieces of granite and marble.
The FORAGRES kit consists of: a MULTIDRILL guide, a 0.32 gal. water tank and a manual water pump, a 6.7 ft. hose, 6 diamond drill bits (3/4, 1-1/8, 1-3/8, 1-3/4, 2, and 2-3/4 in. diam.) and a practical case.
The diamond rim of FORAGRES drill bits is sintered and joined to the drill bit body by laser welding.
FORAGRES diamond drill bits must ALWAYS be used water-cooled and with a non-percussive power drill.
The use of the MULTIDRILL centring guide (ref. 50944) is recommended for centring holes up to 3.27 in. in diameter. For drilling holes greater than 3.31 in. in diameter, the FORAGRES guide is recommended (ref. 50900).
The average life of the FORAGRES diamond drill bits is 60 holes and ALWAYS depends on the type of material, its thickness and proper cooling and use.
The drilling depth of the FORAGRES diamond drill bits is 1-1/8in. (1.3 in. for diameters of 2-1/4 and 3 in.).
Before further drilling you must ensure that the drill bit is clean and free of any obstruction or remains.
The maximum speed of use for FORAGRES diamond drill bits is 900 rpm except in diameters of 4 and 4-3/4 in. where the maximum speed for use is 450 rpm
For a better finish and longer drill bit life, it is important to respect the proper rotation speed and exert moderate pressure during drilling.
