Shipping Policy

We ship to virtually any address worldwide. However, certain products may be restricted or unavailable for international delivery due to carrier or regulatory limitations. Please contact us before placing international orders to confirm eligibility.

Shipping Estimates and Adjustments

  • Shipping and delivery dates are estimated based on item availability and the shipping method selected at checkout.

  • Estimates shown during checkout may vary due to carrier constraints, dimensional weight, or destination-specific surcharges. If actual shipping costs differ by more than $15 or 20% of the original estimate, we will contact you prior to shipment.

  • Orders typically process within 1–2 business days. Shipping timelines begin once the order is processed and picked up by the carrier.

  • We reserve the right to partially ship an order unless the customer requests complete shipment in writing.

Weight-Based Shipping

  • Many items are shipped based on weight and dimensional size. All weights are rounded up to the next full pound in accordance with carrier policies.

  • If actual shipping dimensions result in a higher cost, we may absorb the difference at our discretion. If the increase is substantial, we will notify you before proceeding.

Remote and Extended Delivery Zones

  • Orders shipped to remote, rural, or extended delivery zones may incur additional charges beyond the quoted estimate. These fees are determined by the carrier and vary by location.

  • If your address qualifies for such a surcharge, we will notify you prior to shipment with the adjusted rate. You may choose to proceed, modify your shipping method, or cancel the order.

Expedited Shipping

  • Guaranteed delivery timelines apply only to UPS and FedEx Next Day Air or Second Day Air services, and are based on the actual ship date—not the order date.

  • Expedited orders are subject to warehouse processing and carrier pickup schedules. If an order is processed or picked up later than expected, shipping fees will not be refunded or discounted.

Expedited Shipping Availability and Limitations Expedited shipping services, including Next Day Air, Second Day Air, or any premium carrier service, are not guaranteed and may not be available for all products, suppliers, or warehouse locations. Some manufacturers and distribution partners do not offer expedited fulfillment. If expedited service is unavailable, not feasible, or cannot be fulfilled at the time of shipment, the order will ship using the fastest available Ground service.

If expedited shipping was selected and paid for but could not be provided, the expedited shipping charge will be refunded. This refund applies only to the difference in shipping cost and does not waive any other fees or responsibilities under our return policy.

Return Fees When Expedited Shipping Is Unavailable If an order ships via Ground due to expedited service being unavailable, this does not qualify the order for free returns, waived restocking fees, or waived shipping charges. All standard return terms apply:

  • Customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways

  • A minimum 15% restocking fee applies, or the applicable manufacturer or warehouse restocking fee if higher

  • These fees apply even if the customer is returning the product because expedited shipping was not available

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that expedited shipping is subject to carrier and supplier availability and agrees that the return policy remains in full effect regardless of shipping method adjustments.

Order Cancellation

  • We will make every effort to cancel an order before shipment. However, once in transit, cancellation is not possible.

  • Customers are responsible for round-trip shipping costs and any applicable restocking fees for canceled or returned orders, including partially shipped or backordered items.

Backordered Items

  • Backordered items will ship separately once available unless otherwise requested. Additional shipping charges may apply.

Delivery Confirmation and Claims

  • Customers are responsible for packages delivered and left at the front door unless a signature is requested at checkout.

  • If proof of delivery is provided and the package was delivered to the address entered, any claims must be filed directly with the selected carrier.

  • By placing an order, you acknowledge that delivery confirmation constitutes completion of the order. If we select a different carrier, customer responsibility remains once proof of delivery is issued.

Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, including weather, carrier disruptions, or government restrictions.

International Shipments

All international orders are shipped under Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU/DAP) terms. This means the recipient is responsible for paying any import duties, taxes, customs clearance fees, brokerage charges, disbursement fees, or other administrative costs imposed by the destination country or carrier.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee collected at checkout. By placing an international order, you agree to accept responsibility for these charges upon delivery. Failure to pay may result in delays, storage fees, or return of the shipment, for which USA Tools is not liable.
