The DF-AH714 Aluminum Hammer Kit is a 3-piece set designed specifically for working on aluminum-bodied vehicles. The solid aluminum heads eliminate cross-contamination between unlike metals, preventing galvanic corrosion that can occur when steel tools contact aluminum panels. Because aluminum stretches more easily than steel, these lightweight hammers deliver a softer, more controlled impact that suits the material and reduces the risk of over-stretching panels.
Each hammer features a genuine hickory oval handle for a solid grip with reduced breakage risk. The kit includes three purpose-built heads covering a range of bodywork tasks. Every hammer is marked with a red indicator on the top of the head to identify it as an aluminum-only tool, and the set stores in an included blow-molded case to keep the hammers isolated and protected when not in use.
