The SPT 300-SZB-22 Automatic Flake Ice Maker is a fully automatic, freestanding commercial-style ice machine designed to produce soft, chewable flake ice for beverages, food presentation, seafood displays, smoothies, blended drinks, home bars, beverage stations, restaurants, and other food-service applications.
The 300-SZB-22 is capable of producing up to 44 pounds of flake ice every 24 hours and provides an 11-pound maximum ice storage capacity. Its automatic operation continuously produces ice as needed and automatically stops ice production when the storage bin becomes full.
The unit features a durable full stainless-steel housing for a clean, professional appearance and long-lasting performance. Front and side ventilation help provide proper airflow, while adjustable leveling legs allow the machine to be positioned securely on uneven surfaces.
An inline water filtration system is included to help improve water and ice quality and reduce mineral buildup. The supplied filter is NSF certified and has a rated service life of approximately 1,500 gallons or 3 to 5 months, depending on water conditions and usage.
The 300-SZB-22 connects directly to a water supply and includes the required water hose, gravity drain hose, inline water filter with mounting hardware, and ice scoop. Professional installation by a licensed plumber is recommended by the manufacturer.

Installation & Operating Notes
The ice maker requires a permanent water connection and gravity drain. SPT recommends installation by a licensed plumber.
For maximum service life, the manufacturer recommends using filtered or purified water. Distilled or reverse-osmosis water may also help minimize mineral buildup. If water with significant mineral content is used, periodic cleaning is necessary.
The insulated storage bin is not a refrigerated freezer compartment. Once the bin becomes full, the compressor shuts down to conserve energy.
